Welcome to Clio, Michigan!

Quick Facts

In 1917 a teacher's salary was $60.00 a month.

From the organization of the first school in a home to the brick school house (pictured here) in 1888 to present day.  Clio Schools are and always have been a leader in quality education and innovation.

The first school was held in a house on the block where IGA now stands and operated under a "rate" bill.  Each person paid a certain amount to send their children to school.
