Local HistoryFounded by Daniel Kniffin, Calvin Davis, Daniel Miller and Lester Giddings. Mr. Davis became its first postmaster on March 16, 1835. The office was moved to Waldenburgh on March 29, 1860, but the Macomb post office was re-established on December 19, 1860 and operated until June 15, 1904.
