Home to Linden Mills, an old mill with a water wheel on Tupper Lake.  Named after the linden tree.  Beautiful Victorian style buildings in the downtown area

 

Local History

 

The first settlers were Richard and Perry Lamb in 1835.  Established in 1840 when Consider Warner and Eben Harris built a sawmill and ran a grist mill business.  The Linden Mills were a vital source to the village's growth.
