Built in 1953.  Originally served as high school in 1965.

Named after long time Principal and Superintendent, George Carter.

Mr. Carter retired in 1964 with the honor of serving in one school community for 40 years.

School Security

In an effort to provide increased security for all of their students, please remember to report to the main office and obtain a visitors badge before entering the building.  Visitors found without a badge will be asked to return to the office or will be asked to leave the building.  You are welcome to visit anytime - but CMS INSISTS that you let them know you are in the building for the safety of the students and staff.
