The "Alba Historical Society" is
currently using the first schoolhouse built in Alba in 1881 as their
Historical Museum. This school was built in 1881. It is a very unique
building, complete with the original tin ceilings and tin walls.
This Historical Museum has large amounts of old photographs and a large amount of historical documents. Including the original teachers contracts from 1881 and up and the complete history on the school that was documented in the Township Register from 1880.
