Christopher Hughes

Pine Run (Clio), Michigan

Hello! I am Margaret Hughes from Detroit, Michigan.  I am looking for information about the brother and sisters of my great, great grandfather, Christopher Hughes, born in County Kildare, Ireland around 1806. He settled in Pine Run (Part of Clio, Thetford Township Area) around 1830's He was married to Mary Horan.  They had 9 children: Elizabeth, Stephen, Matthew Thomas Michael, Mary Ann, William, John and Jane. My question is did Christopher have any other brothers or sisters that came from Ireland to settle in Mt. Morris Pine Run area?

Christopher acquired land and donated a piece for the St. Mary's Church and cemetery. He is buried in that cemetery with others in the family. I would appreciate any information.  I am going to Ireland this year to Kildare.  I would appreciate having more info about Christopher's family.  Thank you !
